About the Designer
Skye Horton is a fashion designer specializing in womenswear, knitwear, and costume design. She graduated from Otis College of Art and Design with a BFA in Fashion Design and is currently based in Los Angeles CA. During her time at Otis, Skye has gained an encompassing view of what it takes to create compelling garments from sketch to runway. Her professors are all industry professionals from both the fashion and costume worlds. She has created countless illustrations with detailed flats and tech packs. Then taking those designs to fabric stores to scout for the perfect weight, hand, tone, and fiber content appropriate for each design. Then, patterning, cutting, sewing, and embellishing until the real-life garment is accurate to the projected design.
